Sarios Tokmakides established the Marble & Granite Specialists Group in 1993. We started with domestic projects such as kitchen tops and vanities and over the next 3 years have earned the respect of the top architects and designers in South Africa. We then went on to doing corporate projects with wall cladding and flooring.
Our company has done some of the major projects in South Africa like Michelangelo Towers, Sandton Conventional Centre, The Magistrate of Port Elizabeth, The Ministry of Health in Botswana, etc.
We have our own design department with skilled draughts men who can assist our clients from the design phase all the way to the installation. We have more than 130 skillful employees and employ the latest technological equipment imported from Italy, which allows us to complete any kind or size projects.
In the year 2000 we expanded our business by introducing granite gang saws and polishing lines.
We export about 30 containers per month all over the world and supply 10 000m² slabs to the local market.
We have 6 granite quarries that allows us to be completely independent and leaders in the granite industry in South Africa.
We carry more than 45 different types of granite and marble from all over the world, like Spain, Brazil, Finland, India, Russia, Greece, etc.
With the latest technology we are employing, we can complete any cut to size project anywhere in the world from the design stage all to the way to the installation.
